Focuses on engineering, with students designing and building a robot from the ground up.

After school robotics classes
Our own weekly robotics class during the school term, for children from any school. Children build and program VEX robots and move up a level through the year.

Questions parents ask
Which camp suits my child?
Both camps run separately for Years 3 and 4, on VEX GO, and Years 5 and 6, on VEX IQ, so choose by your child's school year. The Build & Create Camp focuses on engineering, with students designing and building a robot from the ground up. The Code & Drive Camp focuses on programming and driving, starting with a quick build on Day 1. If your child is between the two year groups, email us and we'll suggest one.
Can we book both camps?
Yes. Every camp stands alone, so you can book one week or both.
Does my child need any experience?
No. The Code & Drive Camp starts from the fundamentals and needs no coding experience, and the Build & Create Camp explains how and why each build works as children go.
What times do the camps run?
Every camp runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Each day has three sessions, a 20-minute recess and a 40-minute lunch, with pack-up before 3:00pm pick-up.
What should my child bring?
A water bottle, recess and lunch. We provide the robots, the iPads and everything else they need.
How much do the camps cost?
Every camp is $540 for three days, $30 an hour, including GST, paid in full when you book.
How do I book and pay?
Online booking opens soon, and you will pay in full by card when you book. Until then, email us about a place.
What if we need to cancel?
Cancel 14 or more days before the camp for a full refund. Closer to the start, we refund 50% or move your booking to another camp at no cost. If we cancel a camp, you get a full refund.
Do you run classes during the school term?
Yes. We run our own weekly after school robotics classes during term, at our venue on the North Shore, for children from any school. Email us to register your interest.
